About this game
Crystal Foundry is a free block puzzle with a mining twist, made to play in your browser on a phone or computer. Drag crystal pieces onto the 8x8 board. Every full row or column is mined, and the crystals fly up to fill the order you were given before your moves run out.
That order is what makes it different from an endless block game. You are not only clearing lines, you are clearing the right colours. Line up five of one colour to forge a core, then clear it for a big blast when you need several cells gone at once.
You dig through 80 levels across four mines: Amethyst Caves, Emerald Mine, Volcanic Ruby and Frozen Sapphire. Each one adds new trouble. Rocks must be crushed twice, ice freezes cells and lava creeps across the board if you leave it alone, so the same board asks for a different plan as you go deeper.
When you are stuck, the hammer, rotate and swap tools can rescue a bad position. You earn stars and coins on the way, and once the mines are behind you the endless Deep Shaft is there for depth records. Bolt, a cheerful little mining robot, keeps you company. The game is available in English and Arabic.
How to play
Mouse or touch: drag a piece from the tray onto the board. Tap a tool, then a cell or piece to use it. P or Esc pauses.
